Reclaimed in the Black Sea.
Made to live again.
In the Black Sea region of Türkiye, we source reclaimed oak and chestnut from old barns — timber already shaped by weather, work, and time.
Rather than erase that history, we keep the grain, knots, tonal variation, tool marks, and natural patina that make each board distinct, then shape the wood into furniture and objects for a new home.
Old barns in Türkiye’s Black Sea region.
Oak and chestnut selected for character and structure.
Crafted into useful pieces without hiding the material’s past.
Character stays visible.
Variation is not a defect in reclaimed wood. It is the record of the material’s earlier life — and the reason every Woodhors piece carries its own surface, tone, and rhythm.
